Role and responsibilities

Under the responsibility of the finance department, the accountant must ensure the smooth running of accounting entries, the monitoring and maintenance of the company's books according to accounting standards, financial analysis and the production of financial reports.

Tasks

1. Process, analyze and record the company's accounting transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards:
a) Manage payables: 
  • Receive invoices and ensure that they are duly approved
  • Ensure that all the necessary documents are in accordance with the procedures
  • Record invoices
  • Prepare and record payment
  • Follow up on supplier accounts
b. Manage receivables:
  • Organize credit inquiries and update customer files
  • Manage invoicing and follow up on customer receivables
  • Record invoices and payments
     
2. Prepare monthly and annual financial statements:
a. Accounts reconciliation and analysis
b. Month end entries
c. Banks reconciliation
 
3. Provide support in monitoring and updating corporate files:
a. Monthly reporting to the group
b. Cash management
c. Budget monitoring
d. Participate in the annual audit
e. Improve and optimize the ERP system
 
4. Ensure the application of internal control procedures and ensure their relevance 


5. All other tasks related to the position
 

What you will need to succeed

  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience
  • Bilingual French/English
  • Technique in accounting
  • Knowledge of the Microsoft AX system
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel
  • Good sense of organization and communication
  • Team player
  • Entrepreneurial spirit
